Relevant Skills and Experience:
- SALES – My experience is focused on both cold and warm leads. Self generating of opportunities as well as nurturing and growing accounts. My sales approach utilises learnings from a challenger style and MEDDPIC in means of process. The main focus being to uncover customer needs and pain points at the root cause and I provide a consultative solution that will create value for the customer.
- RELATIONSHIP/Account MANAGEMENT – My experience from landing and expanding accounts has meant I have to develop account management skills in order to maintain revenue and renewals. To do this I need to demonstrate skills in building rapport with stakeholders and being able to identify and influence the right people. Personal skills mean I need to be personal and approachable to identify issues and problems with customer accounts in order to resolve them.
- Commercial Accumen – As a verticalized AE my role requires me to almost manage my own business. I develop and execute a strategy for engaging my industry , target accounts and customer base. I am accountable for my pipeline, my deal progression and forecasts as well as improving relationships. I need to be able to draw on the support of other business areas to support my goals and lead and manage the execution of the co-ordinated approach. I must demonstrate accountability for my progress and development as well and my learning and personal development and my product and industry knowledge. I need to be able to operate independently but also within wider account teams in order to be successful.
